The natural beauty of Purdue’s campus is just a dude powerwashing a Neil Armstrong statue

An ESPN camera crew was tasked with an important job: Find a scenic image on Purdue’s campus to shoot for B-roll. After walking and seeking they found their subject, a lone man power washing a statue of Neil Armstrong.

Yes, this is Neil Armstrong. The only way you know it’s Neil Armstrong is if someone tells you -- because Purdue went for the oft-unrepresented “Neil in a suit” phase. Not a space suit, mind you -- just a suit. Just a dude in a suit sitting alone on a ledge. Space is too scary and confronting, so Neil waiting for a bus was preferable.

The majesty of it all.
