On Thursday, Kevin Garnett spoke to the local Minneapolis press about the young players he’s surrounded by on the Timberwolves. His analogy for them is ... err ... a bit disturbing:
Don’t let Kevin Garnett look after your puppies

“You know, it’s almost like putting a bunch of puppies in a box, and shaking it up, and watch the puppies go at it a little bit. [laughs] But it’s fun. You like to see growth ... and more importantly, you wanna see what you do in practice carry over to games, so we just gotta be consistent. That’s the thing I’ve been telling our guys...”
Kevin Garnett used shaking puppies in a box as an analogy for his young teammates. I don’t know if Garnett has ever taken care of puppies before, but that is definitely not what you’re supposed to with puppies.
Maybe reconsider having Garnett as a puppy sitter, y’all.
