Gabriel Aljalian was diagnosed with leukemia when he was 3 years old. He, presumably with some help from the adults in his life, organized an event called “Gabriel’s Day of Kindness” on the third anniversary of his diagnosis, donating gifts to Boston Children’s Hospital and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
ESPN reports:
In recognition of his selflessness, the Make-A-Wish Foundation invited Aljalian and 10 other kids to Gillette Stadium to meet Brady, owner Robert Kraft, tight end Rob Gronkowski and others. They conducted news conferences, saw their names on the videoboard and wore special Patriots jerseys made for them.
Aljalian gave Brady a thank you note with $10 in it, which ESPN says Brady accepted with a smile.
