I heard a story once about a studio putting out a call for people to bring in their cats. A bunch of people involved in the production volunteered to bring theirs in. My cat is soooo chill, they said. He’ll be great! My cat loves people.
All the volunteer cats were scared shitless, and scurrying/clawing ensued. So: props to the stage cats!
