UCF WR nearly flips 360 degrees, still makes the catch

The lone bright spot in an awful season is one heck of a Knight.

UCF wide receiver Tre'Quan Smith is no stranger to circus catches, having climbed a Tulsa defender's back from the front to make an incredible grab earlier in November. But that one might not be as impressive as his leaping, tumbling catch for the Knights on Thanksgiving night.

Hoo, man, going that high and coming down that hard looks painful. Smith narrowly avoided what could’ve been a scary impact from the fall, made the catch, and extended a UCF drive as a result.

That drive ended on a failed fourth down, because UCF’s still UCF, but Smith at least remains a reason to watch the Knights.
