Grambling State QB fumbles right to himself, recovers to throw a TD

One of the worst feelings in football might be when the quarterback is near the end zone, needing just a few yards for a touchdown, when all of a sudden A SWARM OF DEFENDERS comes near. Typically, this doesn’t bode well if the quarterback hasn’t thrown the ball yet.

For Grambling State quarterback Johnathan Williams, that’s exactly what he needed to score a miraculous touchdown against Southern in the Bayou Classic.

Although he ran back a few yards thanks to pressure, he still had some control of the ball. Then, everything went haywire and he dropped it, but it bounced back perfectly enough to recover and throw for a touchdown to wide receiver Ka’Jandre Domino.

Just like Grambling State drew it up.
