James Harden decided arguing with a referee was more important than playing defense

Oh look, a fastbreak opportunity for the New York Knicks! At least James Harden is there to stop it — oh, never mind. Harden seemed to just tune out at some point and instead shifted his focus on the referees.

To be fair, Lance Thomas did grab Jason Terry in what looks to be a blatant missed foul but you never stop playing defense, Harden.

Especially when you’re already known for phoning it in, it’s best just to keep going until the next change of possession.
