Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant’s pet monkey Dallas has become a source of controversy this week, with PETA demanding Monday that Texas animal control confiscate the capuchin and place it in a sanctuary.
Jerry Jones would spend the rest of his life looking at monkeys if you let him
“I’m a monkey fan.”

Later Monday, Texas police announced that the case of Dallas Bryant had been closed, after a lawyer representing the larger Bryant informed them that the monkey was not in fact in De Soto, the Dallas suburb in which he resides.
On Tuesday, Jerry Jones weighed in with an enthusiastic endorsement of Dallas and his own personal take on monkeys. Which: Strongly in favor.
Jerry Jones: "The [Dez Bryant] monkey thing is pretty humorous. I'm a monkey fan. I can stand in a zoo and look at them all day long."
