The NFL rulebook clearly states that a player’s hair is part of their uniform, which is why players are allowed to be tackled by the hair.
Todd Gurley ruled out of bounds because ONLY his hair was out
Here, one of Todd Gurley’s dreads touched out of bounds, so he was ruled out of bounds. Pretty good argument for keeping your hair short as an NFL player since Gurley could have had a lot more yards if he hadn’t been ruled out.
His hair looks awesome, though, so whatever.
