Kickboxer doesn’t let his own knockout deter his celebration

A Dec. 10th bout in New Zealand’s Whawhai boxing and MMA show featured one of the goofiest endings to a knockout in kickboxing history.
What should have been a standard punch and knockout just kept going as the boxer on the receiving end—still wobbling—got up in a sort of heroic stance. He started shuffling around to regain his balance, but then he went all in and raised in hands in victory. The announcers were astonished at how ridiculous yet stoic the boxer looked. The only thing that could have topped off the theatrics would have been him yelling out, “ADRIANNN!”
On second thought, it did get topped off. Still not fully recovered from the knockout, he decides to leave the ring. But he does this literally in an over the top way. He jumped over the ropes, only to trip and fall down.
But if he’s anything like Rocky Balboa, he’ll get up and give it his all next time. But maybe he should skip the grandiose performances.
