While their starters were outscored 45-30, they easily won the battle of the paint by blocking 11 shots -- including four from phenom center Mamadou Ndiaye. This was really just a good excuse to show off the ludicrous size UC Irvine had against a poor team without a single player over 6’9. They noticed.
