Draymond Green and O.J. Mayo had a heated exchange after the Warriors got revenge on the Bucks

On Friday, the Bucks came fairly close to upgrading themselves from being the 1 in the Warriors’ 25-1 to being the “2 in 25-2,” but Golden State ultimately came out on top in a 121-112 win. The game didn’t end without a bit of controversy, however, as Bucks’ O.J. Mayo confronted Draymond Green after the game. And it got a little physical:

The backstory behind this is that a couple days prior to the game, Green and the Warriors had publicly roasted the Bucks for celebrating their streak-breaking win, and Michael Carter-Williams for his dunk near the end of that game.

Green’s comments, per this write-up from ESPN’s Ethan Strauss:

“Michael Carter-Williams getting a dunk at the end of the game and looking at our bench like, ‘Dude you lost your spot,’” Green said of Carter-Williams losing his job as a starter. “So, it’s not quite common that you should be looking toward someone’s bench yelling. You’ve got some ground to make up.”

And it was apparent last night that Mayo didn’t take too kindly to what Green had said about his teammate:

Draymond Green kept quiet about the exchange, but he definitely did not like getting his head touched by Mayo:
