NBA ref gets kicked in shin by tiny kid elf who popped out of a box disguised as a present

The Spurs presented referee Monty McCutchen with a present during halftime. Aww that was very nice of them.

Oh wait, no it wasn’t at all.

Let’s just go over this real quick because there is a lot going on there. Most notably, McCutchen sold the entire thing pretty well. He looked legitimately excited initially only to become devastated, shocked and appalled by how it all played out. Maybe this wasn’t planned and he actually was devastated, shocked and appalled.

Then there is the kid who spent an undetermined amount of time curled up in a box and ended the entire thing VERY proud to have kicked a ref.

I still don’t understand how all of this came about, but I’m very happy it did.
