The Brooklyn Nets and Dallas Mavericks played a tightly contested overtime game on Wednesday, but that didn’t mean they didn’t enjoy themselves a bit while going back and forth. In fact a very strange arrow-shooting competition of sorts broke out.
Nets, Mavericks spent overtime shooting fake arrows at each other
It all started when Dallas’ Wesley Matthews celebrated a three-pointer by shooting a mythical arrow. Brooklyn’s Jarrett Jack answered back with a three-pointer and fired off a fake arrow of his own. It went on and on from there with even the benches getting involved.
Jack had a chance to win the game for the Nets but his final shot missed and Dallas won 119-118. Apparently his quiver was one arrow short.
