Christmas is a special time, or at least it’s supposed to be. Not everyone can celebrate it with family, and while that reality is a bummer, there’s at least one person who’s taking it in stride. Complete with Wham’s “Last Christmas,” Saints linebacker Kasim Edebali (who was born and raised in Germany) wanted everyone to know what it’s like to celebrate Christmas in America while the rest of his family’s back home overseas:
Saints linebacker posts video of himself realizing he’s all alone on Christmas

When you realize your family is in Germany, and you have no friends and presents waiting for you.. Merry Christmas! pic.twitter.com/7XUNtFMsgl
— Kasim Edebali (@TheDreamKasim) December 25, 2015 He’s not that sad, though. He’s totally fine with his situation:
All jokes aside, I'm wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and hope everyone gets to spend some quality time with their family and friends!
— Kasim Edebali (@TheDreamKasim) December 25, 2015 Chances are, he’s not celebrating the holiday alone -- surely, there are some friend who could treat Edebali to a nice Christmas dinner. You know, like the person who was filming him coming through the door.
Whatever happens, we wish Edebali a Merry Christmas.
