J.J. Watt visits a kid in a hospital who surprises him by wearing J.J. Watt socks

While you’re at home with family, Houston Texans’ J.J. Watt is visiting kids in hospitals. He did this on Christmas Eve and he’s doing it on Christmas Day, as well (and he did this while wearing the same outfit on both days, but don’t knock him for that).

One visit in particular warmed up the Texans defensive end’s heart just a little more than the rest. During his visit, a J.J. Watt fan surprised him by wearing socks with his face on it. Here’s what Watt had to say in his Instagram post:

Never thought I’d see my face on a pair of socks. Walked in and Junior said “look what’s been keeping my feet warm while I’ve been in here.” What a crazy life. Kids are awesome. Junior is a champ. #YesImWearingTheSameClothesAsYesterday #DontActLikeYouveNeverDoneIt #ItsVeryComfortable
