Nori Aoki signed with Mariners in part to win a World Series, but mainly to get good coffee

Aoki says he came to Seattle "for the coffee and also to win a World Series."
— Bob Dutton (@TNT_Mariners) December 4, 2015 Aoki has his priorities straight here. How are you supposed to enjoy a World Series title if you can’t even stay awake?
This piece of honesty from Aoki shows Seattle may have found an inefficiency in the way teams recruit free agents. Someday in the near future, coffee will replace cold hard cash as the currency that drives how free agents determine their next landing spot, and when that happens the Mariners will be the new Yankees.
