The Packers won a Hail Mary with no time left on the clock against the Lions Thursday night.
The refs missed some big calls late in Lions-Packers
This very, very questionable facemask call is what allowed the Packers one untimed down. Obviously Lions fans weren’t happy with the way this one went, since it doesn’t look like there was any contact with the facemask.
On the play before the face mask penalty, both fanbases are laying claim to this possibly being pass interference against the opposing team. Regardless, there was definitely a lot of contact for there to be nothing called.
Certainly not a banner ending for the NFL referees.
