Soccer player almost causes brawl by politely nudging ball into goal with his head


In the final minutes of extra time for US Concarneau’s match with Voltigeurs de Chateaubriant, Concarneau’s Herman Koré scored a goal in a really dickish (but funny) way. The ball nearly rolled into the goal, but Koré stopped it, and then used his head to strike the ball into the goal before the goalie got to stop him. Like, the goalie accepted the fate of the score, so he gave up the chase, but Koré wanted to twist the knife by giving him false hope before he scored the goal. Unsurprisingly, his opponents got angry and a scuffle nearly happened on the pitch.
This actually isn’t the first time it’s happened in soccer -- Paul-Georges Ntep did the same thing in May last year, which was equally as funny as Koré‘s goal:
