Couple realizes 58-cent Vince Lombardi Goodwill sweater is worth $20,000

A couple made the find of a lifetime when they bought an old worn sweater for 58 cents at a Goodwill outlet in the North Carolina mountains. They had planned to sell it in their vintage store -- that is, until they checked the tag and discovered it belonged to legendary NFL coach Vince Lombardi.
The West Point sweater traces back to Lombardi’s time there as an assistant coach and is expected to fetch $20,000 at auction later this month. That’s a heck of a return on investment.
