Patriots DE Chandler Jones is on top of the football world after helping his team win the Super Bowl, but he’s arguably not even the most successful athlete in his family: His brother Jon “Bones” Jones is the UFC Light Heavyweight champion, considered by many the best fighter in the world -- if not the best of all time. Chandler wants to set the record straight, per TMZ:
Super Bowl champ Chandler Jones wants a sibling fight with UFC champ Jon Jones
The football champion wants to take on his brother, the fighting champion. We’d watch!

“Me and my brother used to fight all the time when we were young, and I’m pretty sure I can take him down now. I am way bigger than he is,” Chandler tells us.
He’s not suggesting a shot at the title -- just a one-round fight for charity.
Jon is the older brother, so Chandler probably has a lot of losses to make up for. And he’s right that he has a size edge -- he’s 6’5, 265 pounds, while Jon is only 6’4 and 205 -- but still, his brother is kind of incredible at fighting. This might not go well for him.
It seems kind of unlikely that this will ever happen though. As Chandler notes, Bill Belichick probably wouldn’t like one of his players participating in a bout with one of the most vicious fighters in the world. And Bones probably has to worry about defending his title instead of fighting his very strong brother. But for now, we can imagine.
The oldest Jones brother isn’t a shabby athlete himself -- Arthur, a DE currently with the Colts, won a Super Bowl with the Ravens two years ago.
