Runners argue on Twitter, badmouth Taylor Swift in the process

Mo Farah is pretty much the most famous distance runner in the world right now, which is going to cause other runners to step to him -- guys like Andy Vernon. There’s nothing wrong with runner beef, in fact it’s probably good for track and field to have a little fire -- but not at the expense of Taylor Swift. You leave her out of this.
“Haters Gonna Hate” is not a Taylor Swift creation, Andy. She just happened to make it catchy as hell. There was no need to bring her up, and for shame Mo. Taylor Swift can probably run faster than a whole bunch of people. She’s awesome so why make that equivalent to an “embarrassment.”
These two just need to shake it off and save it for the next race.
