Kevin Hart spoke on the Jim Rome Show today about his appearance in the Celebrity All-Star Game, and confirmed that this year was the last time he’ll appear in the exhibition.
Kevin Hart retiring from NBA All-Star Celebrity Game after Mo’Ne Davis’ crossover
The greatest -- well, “greatest” -- player in NBA All-Star Celebrity Game history is calling it quits.

Hart, who has won MVP of the event four times -- there’s a fan vote, his actual stats have been less than stellar -- said he wanted to show fans he could play hoops after playing varsity basketball in high school. And he admitted why he’s quitting: Mo’Ne Davis:
The 13-year-old little league star burned Hart with a vicious spin move in the game, and the 35-year-old actor wants to avoid that ever happening again.
“That little girl embarrassed me on live television,” said Hart. “It’s only going to get worse if I keep going back. I don’t want to see what’s going to happen next.“And thus, the greatest career in NBA All-Star Celebrity Game history comes to an end. We’ll see if he has second thoughts about walking away from the game, like MJ before him.
