The Purefoods Hotshots (yes, the actual name of the actual team) apparently have a zero-tolerance policy on badmouthing Manny. Yahoo! Sports reports:
“Everyone is angry at him... it is like he went to the United States and insulted the name of Martin Luther King,” the ABS-CBN news website quoted [team administrator Rene] Pardo as saying.
And what was the surely SCALDING HOT TAKE that Orton offered up about Pacquiao?
“Professional boxer, yeah, okay... professional basketball player, no. It’s a joke.”
That’s what Orton had to say about Manny after playing against him in a game where Pacquaio scored just one point. Lesson learned, everyone: when they ask you if Manny is a god, YOU SAY YES.
