Wife thinks husband would find Seahawks joke in his obituary ‘hysterical’

Stephanie Vedvik blamed the Seahawks for the heart attack her husband suffered hours after the Super Bowl. She told the Spokesman-Review he would have loved the obituary, too.

“My husband would have thought it was hysterical,” she says. “If I had read this obituary to my husband about somebody else, he would have had a laugh.”

She adds of the sentiment contained in that last sentence, “It was just so true because my husband would have said, ‘What a dumbass.’”

For the record, his wife doesn’t actually think the Seahawks caused Mike’s death. He had recorded the Super Bowl and was planning to watch it later.
