The Clippers only lost by 11 to the Cavs, but that doesn’t tell the story: They trailed by 31 entering the fourth quarter and were called for five technical fouls as the frustration mounted. Doc Rivers spotted a Clips fan in Cleveland, and TNT cameras caught him apologizing to the fan:

Doc Rivers knew his team’s performance wasn’t up to snuff in Cleveland and felt the need to tell a faithful fan far from home that he was sorry.
The Clippers don’t play the Cavaliers again this year, so the team will have to wait until next year to make it up to its presumably Ohio-based fan.
