Chris Paul stares down Kevin Durant, who reminds him he’s losing by 20

This is the next level of saying “scoreboard” to an opponent. Chris Paul hit a nice jumper, and decided to stare down Kevin Durant. That was unwise. His response: “Now you’re down 20, homie.”
Durant might be the most entertaining trash talker in the NBA, because it’s not trash at all -- dude’s just telling the truth. The Clippers were indeed down by 20, and they ended up losing by 23. Durant also dominated this pseudo one-on-one matchup by scoring 29 points to Paul’s 18.
Let this be a reminder for anyone planning to stare at KD: if you plan to bring the heat, you best back it up.
