RIP, Derrick Rose memorial. You sprang to life in an instant and grew before our eyes -- a testament to just how much Chicago loves its sports stars, even if it was a little creepy. Now you’re gone, but we can rebuild!

Some rogues (possibly Pistons fans) have destroyed the memorial under an overpass in Chicago, now 100 strong have said they will be there at 5 p.m. today to help restore the memorial to its once-proud glory. That’s the kind of dedication we’d expect from Bulls fans.

If you want to be part of the effort, you can find more info here.
