Spectator causes cyclist to crash hard by grabbing her handlebars
Looks like cycling has become a full-contact sport.
Dutch news outlet RTV posted this video Thursday showing a spectator causing a crash near the finish line of the 8 Drenthe Westerveld race in the Netherlands. The rider in question is Australia’s Loren Rowney. It was a nasty fall, but fortunately, it looks like she’s not injured:
