Sideline reporter nods along as Timofey Mozgov accidentally answers question in Russian
We’ve all been there.

Bill Hanstock is a writer, author and Emmy Award-winning producer. He began writing for SB Nation in 2011.
Timofey Mozgov, whose first language is Russian, unknowingly gave a complete answer in Russian. Allie Clifton, complete professional, nodded along as though NOTHING AT ALL was amiss. She even responded to the question for him! He realized what happened IN THE MIDDLE OF HIS NEXT ANSWER. WHICH WAS IN ENGLISH.
This is so great. It’s also sort of tipping the hand on how strictly athletes stick to stock answers to questions. Clifton was able to respond to the question regardless of what language the answer was in, because every player would likely have given her the same answer. (Note to Marshawn Lynch: learn Russian so you can really try to keep reporters on their toes.)
For the record, Clifton knows what’s up.
"@Kyle_T10: @FSOAllieOop hahaha what just happened there with Mozgov?" Little Russian 101... Ain't hurt nobody.
— Allie Clifton (@FSOAllieOop) March 18, 2015 Boom, winky-faced.
