TSN's #TradeCentre was tracking all the news and rumors leading up to Monday's NHL trade deadline. They were running tweets on their lower third on-screen ticker and ... it appears one of the tweets related to Leafs defenceman Dion Phaneuf did NOT get caught by a screener.
Maple Leafs players threaten to sue after TSN accidentally posts joke adultery tweet
Cuckoldry is no laughing matter, eh.

— J-E (@JE_Iannicello) March 2, 2015 The other player mentioned in that tweet, Joffrey Lupul, took exception to the tweet ... and also doesn’t appear to understand that it was a fan on Twitter, not TSN just editorializing.
TSN just a poor mans TMZ. Embarrassing.
— Joffrey Lupul (@JLupul) March 2, 2015 It appears Lupul was angry enough to do more than tweet. Lupul, Phaneuf and Phaneuf’s wife Elisha Cuthbert retained a law firm which sent a letter to TSN demanding a formal apology and that the network pay “a significant amount of damages” to each client. The firm is planning to send a similar letter to the author of the original tweet. If TSN does not meet the requirements, Phaneuf, Lupul and Cuthbert are planning to sue the network.
That brings up a strange scenario.
Here's where we are: two Leafs are threatening to sue a property owned by the owner of the Leafs.
