Game of Thrones returns in a few short weeks and everyone is excited. Perhaps nobody is more amped than Warriors’ forward Harrison Barnes. The NBA schedule was perfect in allowing him to watch on April. 12, and House Barnes is ready.
This is all very cool, but let’s chat about Barnes’ house words:
“Darkest before the fall”
Yes, it’s obviously going to be darkest before the fall -- otherwise you wouldn’t be about to fall. This is the house word equivalent of “It’s always in the last place you look.” Maybe Barnes was trying to evoke “It’s always darkest before the dawn,” but “before the fall” makes no sense.
Forget all of that. He put a falcon on a basketball, and that’s great.
