The Three Rivers Stadium website from 1998 is still up and untouched
The final game at Three Rivers Stadium was played in 2000. But the website is up and running and it’s a glorious, low-fi sports Internet playground.

* “This site has been optimized for Netscape 3.0 or above and Internet Explorer 4.0 and above.”
* “Use Mapquest to find us.” Everyone knows Google Maps is the best (true that) ((double true)).
* These sponsors! Newspapers no longer exist, Coca-Cola went out of business, we have not had a spectacular summer in the 21st century and Wendy’s rebranded as “Wendo’s House of Patty Meat” in 2003.
* THIS GIF!

* This person passed out at Ribfest.
The new Internet is great and fun and probably better than the Internet of the past — We can live stream our bike ride to work and order pizza with the push of a button from our computerphone! — but, dang, if this isn’t beautiful.
