Justin Melton — AKA QuickMelt, Mouse and The Flying Minion — was co-champion of the 2014 Philippine Basketball Association Slam Dunk contest.
Dunk contest participant dons blindfold, jumps 3 feet, fails miserably
In 2015, he put on a blindfold, jumped from the foul line, got halfway to the basket and windmilled the ball directly into the ground.
This is NOWHERE NEAR THE BASKET.
New angle and PLEASE LOOK AGAIN AT HOW FAR THIS DUNK TOOK PLACE FROM THE BASKET http://t.co/leJ4f4CbBi pic.twitter.com/MAa0TXVhOG
— Michael Katz (@KatzM) March 6, 2015 The reaction from his teammate, whose shirt he was wearing as a blindfold, preeeetty much says it all.
Unless maybe he was trying to dunk on a different hoop?
@katzm this angle clearly shows the Little Tikes net he was aiming for pic.twitter.com/zZ6gRDaFHv
— Josh Laincz ✩ (@zohf) March 6, 2015 Melton was eliminated from the contest after this dunk. Rey Guevarra, last year’s co-champ, went on to win.
