Laila Ali is the daughter of Muhammad Ali, of course. She’s also a retired world champion boxer with a perfect 24-0 record and 21 knockouts. TMZ asked her if Rousey could beat her and she said of course not. “No woman can beat me, period.” So there you have it: Laila Ali thinks she can beat Ronda Rousey.
Not really, though.
Let's b clear...I'm retired & not interested in fighting anyone. When asked questions, I just answer them honestly Everybody stay relaxed!
— Laila Ali (@TheRealLailaAli) March 9, 2015 In the video, Ali herself says that there’s a big difference between boxing and MMA and also points out that Rousey is “too small.” There are weight classes for a reason, people. Still, though, it’s fun to think about a Rousey vs. Ali superfight.
(I still think Rousey would take her.)
