Pack it up, NBA. The Hawks have Chick-fil-A on their side

James Dator
James Dator has been covering a wide range of sports for SB Nation for over a decade, with a special focus on the NFL.

The Hawks have a feather in their cap and the rest of the league doesn’t stand a chance. Chick-fil-A is throwing their considerably delicious weight behind Atlanta’s home team. This means there’s absolutely no beating the Hawks, except on Sunday when they’ll rest. That joke kills if there’s a Chick-fil-A in your town.

This billboard raises a larger question: Is the fast food giant advocating that we eat hawks? Hawk might taste like chicken, but that sounds illegal. Either way, it’s worth trying anything when it’s fried in peanut oil and served with a side of waffle fries.
