According to ESPN, UFC star Anderson Silva has announced his desire to compete in taekwondo at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. The Brazilian superstar, now 39 years old, was one of the most dominant champion in MMA history not too long ago.

The Brazilian taekwondo confederation said Wednesday that “this wonderful possibility” of Silva competing in the Olympics will be discussed next week between the fighter and local officials.
Silva tweeted out a picture on Wednesday showing him training in taekwondo.
