Alex Rodriguez hits 2 homers and is on fire right now

He’s the best Yankees player right now. And he’s two away from tying Willie Mays.

The first of his two home runs against the Rays on Friday night was an absolute moon shot:

Mercy. Just how hard was that hit?

Oh, and it’s the farthest home run of the year so far. His second home run of the night was career homer No. 658, which puts him just two shy of tying Willie Mays for third place on the all-time list. Considering he already has four home runs this year, he’ll PROOOOBABLY get there soon.

Oh, and uh ...

(Note that the Rays fans threw that first home run back. Not everyone’s on the A-Rod train just yet.)
