Forget rules, they were meant to be broken. Screw tradition, it’s old and stodgy anyway. This NBC affiliate in New York has some outside the box thinking -- that’s right, Game 8 of a playoff series.
It’s the kind of bold move that could really pay off for the Islanders. The Capitals won’t be prepared for a Game 8. All they can do is watch it unfold before them. Why stop at eight? Let this series get into the teens. Why not?
