Indiana police are on the hunt for a thief who stole an Indy 500 pace car from a dealership in Indianapolis last night. The thief was Gone In 60 Seconds after he drove the car through the dealership’s window and down a flight of stairs.
The thief is still at large, but the car was found abandoned and no longer driveable in the Indiana town of Zionsville.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, the thief is described as, “a white male with glasses and no shirt.” So as of right now, nearly the entire male population of rural Indiana fits the description.
Police believe that the suspect is currently on foot and likely injured as a result of driving the car through the window with the top down. Artists have recreated the crash here:
