This video of men flying jetpacks over Dubai is terrifying and awesome

James Dator
James Dator has been covering a wide range of sports for SB Nation for over a decade, with a special focus on the NFL.

This video needs to be appreciated in all its splendor. Kick back, put on some good headphones, hit “full screen” on a nice monitor and get lost in what it’s like to soar thousands of feet above Dubai.

Yves Rossy is one of the only people in the world with a working jetpack. A real one. It’s essentially two jet engines strapped to a pair of wings. Rossy and his protege, Vince Reffet, soar above the sights of Dubai at 120 mph, and while the video is terrifying, its also one of the coolest things you’ll see.
