Nationals, Phillies players had a good, old-fashioned national anthem standoff

There are standoffs and staredowns fairly regularly in baseball nowadays. Usually at least once a year. The premise is simple: each team selects an emissary to continue standing by the dugout after the national anthem is over. The first person to go in the dugout loses. THE STAKES HAVE NEVER BEEN LOWER. On Friday, the Phillies and Nationals got into it:

It was the second standoff in a row for the Phillies. Sadly, they were not victorious on this day, as Aaron Barrett outlasted Aaron Harang (in full catcher’s gear).
