The Giants were playing the Rockies in Coors Field on Friday night. The highlight for Giants fans, most likely, was this mammoth home run:

I can only ever remember three Giants hitting a home run into that top deck in right field: Barry Bonds, Nate Schierholtz and now Brandon Belt. All sure-fire Hall of Famers, probably. In my heart, at least.

Mercy, he hit that baseball a long way. The estimated distance of the homer was 475 feet, which is tied with this Giancarlo Stanton blast for the second-longest homer of the year. And no, that’s not even the home run that Stanton hit all the way out of Dodger Stadium.
