Jimmy Kimmel explains what it was like to be a part of Manny Pacquiao’s entourage

James Dator has been covering a wide range of sports for SB Nation for over a decade, with a special focus on the NFL.
Jimmy Kimmel had a simple dream: He wanted to be Manny Pacquiao’s equivalent of Justin Bieber. You know, the random celebrity who walks to the ring with a boxer, just like Biebs does with Floyd Mayweather. He got his wish.
The funniest thing about Kimmel’s experience was being stuck as the odd man out before the fight. Everyone was banished from Pacquiao’s dressing room before the fight except for his inner circle of trainers ... and Kimmel. The awkwardness was compounded when everyone left, leaving Kimmel alone with Pacquiao before the biggest fight of his life.
Pacquiao vs. Mayweather might not have been as special as Kimmel and Pacquiao hoped, but they’ll always have this blurry selfie to remember things by.
