On Late Night with Seth Meyers, Pedro Martinez shared some wacky stories about Manny Ramirez, like Manny jumping in Pedro’s small Jacuzzi, and falling asleep in Pedro’s bed. He also revealed that, during the 2004 postseason, the team made a pre-game concoction that included gin, honey and wine. Leave it to Ramirez to spice it up with three 100-mg Viagra pills and ask poor Ellis Burks to taste test it.
Sure, it sounds weird, but they won the World Series, didn’t they? (Don’t actually mix Viagra in your alcohol. Drink responsibly.)
