If you’re not familiar with the original Big Trouble in Little China, shame on you. It’s a delightfully over-the-top John Carpenter cult classic starring Kurt Russell. If anyone is going to remake it, thank goodness they have the presence of mind to put The Rock in it. We will forgive just about anything if we can look at The Rock while it’s happening.

The main character of Big Trouble, Jack Burton, is pretty beloved. We have a pretty good idea that The Rock will bring the role the gravitas it deserves:
The Rock has already co-starred with Kurt Russell in Furious 7 (although the two actors didn’t share any scenes), so maybe Russell will have a nice little cameo in the new Big Trouble. If not, that’s fine. More The Rock for everyone!
