Joe Panik’s former minor league team gave away ‘Panik buttons’

Yep, the Richmond Flying Squirrels definitely put together one of the best stadium giveaways of the year with this one. Giants second baseman Joe Panik has been dealing with bad “panic” puns from the fanbase since the day he was drafted. Nice to see he’s having fun with it.

Even better? During his rehab assignment in Richmond, Panik’s teammate Matt Cain picked up one of these little beauties for manager Bruce Bochy.

Guess those puns will never go away. That’s okay. Baseball is always better with puns.
