Mookie Betts leaves game after running face-first into center field wall

In the first inning of Friday’s game against the Blue Jays, Boston’s Mookie Betts launched a home run. He didn’t have quite as much fun in the top of the second:

Ouch. Pitcher Joe Kelly’s reaction speaks for all of us.

Betts suffered a lower back sprain on the play and left the game before the third inning, quite understandably. His status for Saturday’s game is uncertain.
