Yes, there’s a ‘Burnt Rubbèr’ cologne that smells like a racetrack

If you’ve watched a race lately you’ve probably seen a commercial for “Burnt Rubbèr,” a new cologne from Sunoco that smells like... well, burnt rubber. Seriously. It’s pronounced “Burnt Rub-air,” because it’s French -- clearly. Jimmie Johnson is one of its backers and appears in the fragrance’s ad.
GQ got a whiff of the cologne and despite having a name you think you smell terrible, it doesn’t.
“Burnt Rubbèr,” a fragrance that captures the essence of racing with the scent of, well, burnt rubber. We gave it a test, and hard as it might be to believe, it wasn’t bad at all. A little sweet, a lot burnt, one whiff and we were there at the track.”
There’s no way to purchase the cologne that smells like a NASCAR infield, as Sunoco is only giving bottles out via online social media contests. If you want to smell like an over-revved car then you should probably follow them, or something.
