Chicken mascot coaches first base, gets player picked off

Getting picked off sucks. Getting picked off because of a chicken mascot is much, much worse. That happened Thursday in Iowa where the famous chicken stepped in to become the Cubs’ first base coach and made the wrong call.

The lesson in this: Never trust a chicken.
